About the Job
We are looking for a hands on supervisor to lead and support our janitorial team. This supervisory role combines leadership with active participation in cleaning duties to maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained facility.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, dependable individual with strong leadership, time management, and communication skills. The hands on supervisor is responsible for ensuring high-quality service by supervising staff, managing shift activities, and serving as the key point of contact between frontline team members and upper management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee janitorial staff during assigned shifts.
  • Actively participate in cleaning tasks to support the team and uphold quality standards.
  • Monitor productivity and ensure all tasks are completed according to company procedures and customer expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with both team members and management.
  • Address issues as they arise, including staffing concerns, inventory supply needs, and service disruptions.
  • Maintain compliance with safety policies and operational procedures.
  • Complete shift reports, inspection checklists, and incident documentation as needed.
Requirements:

  • Prior experience in janitorial services with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
  • Ability to lead by example and work alongside team members.
  • Excellent communication, written and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
